About

Speak into the microphone there? One two, one two… Can everybody hear me? Ok, let’s go.

We are Roey Franco and Itamar Avidani, 2 students on our senior year at Hadassah college, Jerusalem IL. Interactive communications department.

In order to graduate, we were ordered to prepare a project that will include at least 3 subjects which we’ve studied in class.

So, while roaming through the net, fishing for ideas, we’ve come across Microsoft’s’ Surface (TM, all rights reserved to Microsoft and all of that legal mambo-jumbo), and decided to build one of our own as a graduation project.

With the kind help of Laurence Muller, who documented his own process of building a multitouch surface we’ve started our work.

Here you’ll find our documentation of the work, our advices and frustrations (have you EVER tried to smooth an acrylic surface with wet sandpaper? That’s gonna be hard on your muscles! ) throughout our work.

Enjoy reading and feel free to comment or make your own suggestions .
